Plan, organize and direct all financial activities and policies including the management of accounting, financial planning, fiscal procedures, auditing and cost control. Perfect the company’s financial standard and procedures, supplying the necessary information for its effective management.
Maintains the system of accounts and keeps records on all company transactions, assets, and liabilities Develop, analyze, and interpret accounting information for management Furnishes other requested internal reports, revises and updates reports to be more useful or efficient, and furnishes external reports as necessary Maintains and develops communication with parent company and resolves intercompany issues Responsible for planning and compliance of local statutory requirements and coordinates audits with independent auditors Ensures that cash management process is in place and monitors cash requirements Administers and ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures Works with management to establish departmental budgets that correspond with manufacturing plans and subsequent review of performance against those budgets Prepares weekly analysis of department costs, manufacturing variances and efficiency Supervise accounting staff and assists with resolving finance/accounting issues Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems within finance department.
